4th of July

We enjoyed celebrating Emmy's first 4th of July with her. We had just come back from camping, and were washing laundry and repacking for a quick trip to Utah the next day (for her baby blessing) so Dad was too tired to go see the fireworks. Mom drove to our usual spot by the golf course south of the church. We were surprised that not too many people were there, and nobody was even sitting on the church lawn. We waited for the fireworks to start, and watched some in the distance while waiting. Unfortunately we finally figured out that the ones in the distance were Broomfield's fireworks that had been moved from previous years. Poor Emmy. I am afraid we didn't make a good impression on her for her first 4th of July. These pictures were taken the next day at her baby blessing. Evan gave her a wonderful blessing and we were so glad we were able to be there for this special occasion.
