Coloring Easter eggs on Saturday night.
The girls couldn't figure out why we would color real eggs.
They asked how I could possibly put candy in the real eggs.
Wanted to know what we were going to do with the eggs after we colored them. Maybe this is a lost art? Not sure, but we had fun anyway. Too cold and rainy the next day to hide the candy eggs outside, so we did that inside. Seems like that is becoming a trend here in Colorado. You just can't count on warm weather in April. I didn't get any pictures of the kids in their Easter clothes as I was busy baking dinner, so I hope some of you moms will post those on your blog. Evan, Chelsea, Emmy, Lukas, Casey - we missed you guys and want you to know that we love you guys. We are glad that Casey is on the road to recovery after losing the baby. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

You did it! You got the matching button! Also, that post made me sad. I'm so sad we couldn't come be with everyone on easter. :( Also...YOU ARE CUTE AND SWEET AND GREAT.
That is only the second time our girls have colored real eggs, and the first time Haylee and Erika probably don't remember because they were too little (Sophie and Isabelle were watching from Heaven). So for us, it is a lost art!
