Guatemala!

The view from the front door of
our headquarters, The Benson
Institute. (How would you like to
crawl up that rickety ladder or
stand on that makeshift scaffolding?)

Street vendor selling baked goods
that she is carrying on her head,
with her baby on her back.

We rode into the villages to work in the same mode that the locals use--open air transportation on rough roads!

A typical home.

Utterly amazing that the farmers are able
to plant corn on these steep slopes!!!

Some of the children we provided dental care for at a school.

One of the schools we used for a clinic.

Another organization came and used this scale
to weigh the children.

A woman in her corn field.

They loved the fleece blankets!

I just keep making the babies cry!

On our last day we treated about 20 prospective missionaries and signed
their mission papers. We worked at the stake center in Guatemala city.
A wonderful ending to our trip!

Whoa you did put more pictures on! When I commented before there were more pictures underneath...weird. I love the pictures. It's so sad that people have to live in such bad conditions. Good thing there are good people like you guys that serve them from time to time. Sad.
