I have decided to start a regular "Advice From Mom" column. I'll bet you are all very excited about this! My advice for the week is to speak in loving and kind tones to your partner. Everyone deserves respect, so try asking nicely when you want some help, and avoid the urge to demand or give orders. Remember that a "soft answer turneth away wrath."

Good advice, but I have one question. What spawned that particular advice? Have you and dad been fighting again?
We all could use advice like that now and again.

Where did you get such a cute background? I think that our blog needs a makeover.
I want to tell the whole Olson family that today is our anniversary (61 years) can you believe it!!!!! We both forgot all about it until this afternoon when it finally dawned on us. Oh well, we are getting older and more forgetful all of the time but we do still have some of our brain left. We still do remember that we have kids, grandkids and great-grandkids that we love with all our hearts.
