Erika is 6 Today!

Grandpa and I will never forget watching you come into this world 6 years ago today. It was a rainy and thunderous night in Provo, and the power went off in the hospital. The generators came on and the light in the room was dim as you were born. We looked across the street and wondered if we could see the MTC where we had dropped Evan off the day before. He wanted to see you before he left for Africa, but you had other plans and made him wait for 2 years. But your parents were so kind as to name you with his initials in his honor--Evan Anders Olson and Erika Aspyn Olson. You are a special girl and have a special and tender heart. Happy Birthday Erika!
