Typical Home in the Remote Mountain Village

This was a typical home in most of the villages that we worked in. Look closely to the left of the picture and you will see what most of the roofs are made of--palm leaves. You know it's almost time for dinner when you start to smell the smoke, as they cook all their food on an open fire inside their home.
